The following table shows the security controls that RSA recommends putting in place to help secure the deployment.
- Default Deployment Setting: HTTPS is enabled by default between the NetWitness Platform client and the server
- Secure Deployment Settings: For the best possible security between the client and the server, use certificates from CA.
- Pros of Secure Deployment Settings: Provides a high level of protection for the communication between client and server by avoiding tampering, spoofing, and man‐in‐the middle attacks.
