On-Demand Virtual Labs

Quick Guide for Lab Access:
PLEASE NOTE: Only request your lab environment when you are ready to start completing the lab activities. After requesting, it may take 24 hours for your environment to be provisioned.
Lab exercises are performed in the NetWitness Education virtual lab environment.

When you are ready for your lab environment, complete the following steps:

Step One:

REQUEST LAB ENVIRONMENT. Copy and Paste the below in an email, including answers to the 6 below items. Send the email to the NW Education Team: education.support@netwitness.com

Email Subject: Request for NetWitness Lab Environment

  1. Request For: Lab Environment Provisioning
  2. Course Name:
    Enter one of the following courses:

  3. Order Number: (enter your order number)
  4. Select Geographic Region:

  5. Your First and Last Name
  6. Email Address: (Please provide the email address you used in Signing in to your NetWitness Education Portal.)

Step Two:

RECEIVE OUR EMAIL AND GET STARTED
You will receive an email from CloudShare with a link to your provisioned lab environment. This email could take up to 24 hours to arrive. Click the link in the email to access your on-demand lab.

Quick Lab Tips:

  • To preserve your lab time, your environment will auto-suspend after 30 minutes of inactivity. If your environment auto-suspends, you will need to log in again to activate your Environment.
  • You can manually suspend your environment by pressing the pause (▐ ▌) button in the Environment Actions section.
