Deploying a NetWitness Health and Wellness RSA Live resource has no supported service

Issue

In the NetWitness UI, Config > Live Content, when selecting to deploy a "Health and Wellness Dashboard" or "Health and Wellness Monitor" resource the Deployment Wizard fails to find a support service.

The following error shows "No services supported for selected resources".

Resolution

From NetWitness 11.5 and above the "new Health and Wellness" content is a newly added feature.

In order to deploy the "new Health and Wellness" content from RSA Live the Metrics Server service must be installed.

The error "No services supported for selected resources" indicates the Metrics Server service is not installed.

The Deployment Guide for RSA NetWitness Platform 11.5 describes how to manually install the Metrics Server service.

The Metrics Server service can be installed on any one of the following (in order of preference).
  • Standalone virtual "new Health and Wellness" host
  • Broker
  • NW Admin Server
  • ESA
After installing the Metrics Server service and it is running the RSA Live "new Health and Wellness" content should be able to be deployed to NetWitness UI, Admin > Health & Wellness, New Health & Wellness tab.
