Issue
When you upgrade to any 12.x version from 11.7.x.x and older versions, the data present in the file /etc/netwitness/platform/resolv.dnsmasq associated with DNS is not copied to /etc/resolv.conf. As a result, you lose access to Active Directory Authentication, Live, and Updates that require DNS access.Resolution
After upgrading to the 12.x version, on the Admin server manually copy the required data present in the file /etc/netwitness/platform/resolv.dnsmasq to /etc/resolv.conf..
