How to determine the manufacturer, model and serial number of RSA NetWitness appliance.

Resolution

Overview of Steps :

1. Open an SSH session to your appliance.
2. Logon as root.
3. Use the following dmidecode commands to query the system for the required information.   

# dmidecode -s system-serial-number
# dmidecode -s system-product-name
# dmidecode -s system-manufacturer
# dmidecode -t1
# dmidecode -t system
