How to handle SSD Slot is less than the threshold value of 'Remaining Write Rated Endurance'.

Issue

You may face the following alert from iDRAC that the SSD Slot on Concentrator is less than the threshold value of 'Remaining Write Rated Endurance'.
At the same time, you can find the value of Remaining Write Rated Endurance in iDRAC "Hardware > Storage > Physical Disks" with clicking the problem SSD. 

Resolution

If Remaining Write Rated Endurance reaches to 0% on SSD, it can't be writable but might be readable. Before it goes to 0%, you need to replace the SSD. 

However, We can not proceed this issue as RMA internally with Unicom. Because decreasing in the write endurance remaining rate is treated as "wear out" which is not a free of charge on our policy. so Unicom cannot ship a replacement to a consumable part. This means customer need to replace on their own charge. Dell has the same policy when asking Dell Support.

Please note if the problem exist on appliance side not customer's way of usage after investigating, RMA might proceed with discussing Unicom Manager David Hanson , John Kisner and Julie.
