How to increase the Max Where Clause Session Limit in NetWitness Concentrators

Issue

When running a report, you receive an error that a session limit has been encountered.


Resolution

The limit on the session limit can be increased as per below:

Archivers (before 12.3):
  1. Go to Administration -> Services -> Archiver -> Explore View
  2. Go to sdk -> config
  3. Increase the value of max.where.clause.sessions "0"
Archivers (12.3+): This setting is configured by default

Concentrators:
  1. Go to Administration -> Services -> Concentrator-> Explore View
  2. Go to sdk -> config
  3. Increase the value of max.where.clause.sessions "0"

NOTE: A value of 0 specifies that there shall be no limit and the query take an infinitely long time to complete.
It is suggested to use the expected value instead of 0.
