How to remove sensitive components from an RSA appliance prior to an RMA
Issue
How to remove sensitive components from an RSA Security Analytics, RSA enVision, RSA Data Protection Manager or RSA SecurID appliance prior to an RMA.
Resolution
If the customer wishes to remove a faulty hard disk or memory the customer must replace these parts before returning the faulty appliance.
If the customer fails to replace the failed parts RSA will charge the customer the full amount of the appliance as it has not been returned as a whole unit.
