Issue
Upload an Offline Capability Response to NetWitness Platform fails with the below error.
Admin Server /var/log/netwitness/license-server/license-server.log file shows the below error.
2024-02-15 11:21:57,806 [unchMessageListenerContainer-3] WARN API|Failure /rsa/license/set-capability-response [counter=2 reason=EntitlementException::HttpStatusCode: 400, HttpStatus: , Capability response host ID does not match.

Cause
The issue is due to the Admin Server's License Server service recognizing a different License Server ID from what is seen in the Netwitness GUI under Admin->System->Info and in my.rsa.com where the License Server ID is registered.Resolution
Follow the below steps on the Admin Server to reset what the License Server service sees as the License Server ID and have it show the same ID as displayed in the NetWitness GUI at Admin->system->Info.1. SSH to Admin Server.
2. Stop Flexnet service.
systemctl stop flexnetls-RSALM.service
3. Navigate to flexnetls directory.
cd /var/netwitness/flexnetls
4. Move the following files to a backup directory:
flexnetls_licenses.ks
flexnetls_licenses.mv.db
flexnetls.pn
RSALM.0
5. Start the Flexnet service.
flexnetls_licenses.mv.db
flexnetls.pn
RSALM.0
systemctl start flexnetls-RSALM.service
6. Download a new Offline Capability Response bin file from my.rsa.com and upload it to Netwitness UI. Use the "
Refresh License" button after uploading bin file.
7. Please check Admin> System > Licensing >Licensing details page to see the license status.
8. If there are any errors, stop and open a NetWitness Support case for further assistance.
