NetWitness LIVE Account creation/deletion

Issue

The LIVE account creation and deletion process has changed, this article explains the current method.


Resolution

Users with a License Server ID can sign up on https://live.netwitness.com and use forgot password if needed. The below steps are for internal users and account deletion or reset when the email is not available.

Open a JIRA under the project NetWitness Cloud (NWCL)

  • Set Issue Type to Service Request

If requesting an account deletion or reset:

  • Provide the customer’s Live account username if known
  • Customer's Company name
  • Say that you are requesting an account deletion or reset
  • License server id(s)

If requesting an account for an internal user that does not have a license server ID, provide the following:

  • Person’s full name
  • Live account username they would like
  • Department within NetWitness that the user is from
  • Email address
  • Say that the request is for Account Creation

Assign the JIRA:

  • Set the Scrum Team to NW_CloudOps
  • Set the Assignee to Satish Nalla
  • Add Ram Suryanarayan as a Watcher
