NetWitness Pre Upgrade Check - Shows mountpoint failed error

Issue

NetWitness Pre Upgrade Checks show mount point Check Probe Error as below indicating problematic filesystem on each Netwitness server.

Cause

This probe checks all partitions listed in the /etc/fstab file and verifies whether each one is correctly mounted to the specified mount point.

For example, the below-highlighted entry is problematic as per the pre-upgrade check tool.

Resolution

Please perform the following steps on the server with this failed probe:

1. If there are outdated/incorrect entries in the /etc/fstab file, Please remove the outdated entries using vi editor.
2. If the directory is not mounted properly, mount the directory using the below command.

 mount  <directory_name>

Example for Cause section screenshot mount point :

 mount /var/test
