Power Supply Reporting Failure alarm on IDRAC dashboard in RSA Security Analytics

Issue

  • Power Supply is reporting failure on the IDRAC7 dashboard, however, the power supply itself is good and cables and Leds are all ok.
  • After replacing the power supply with a new one will report the same error.


Cause

Firmware bug.


Resolution

  1. Clear the logs stats.

  2. Reset the IDRAC from the lifecycleamangement console.

Note: Reset the IDRAC will restore the default configuration and it must be configured again

This is not related to any version or SA or NetWitness is on the iDRAC so is not for any particular version.
