RSA NetWitness RPM DB Index Check
Issue
Yum commands are not working as RPM DB is corrupted.When you upgrade or refresh the Admin Server host, the RPM DB is corrupted and displays the below errors:
error: db5 error(11) from dbenv->open: Resource temporarily unavailable
2error: cannot open Packages index using db5 - Resource temporarily unavailable (11)
3error: cannot open Packages database in /var/lib/rpm
4Error: rpmdb open failed

Resolution
You must rebuild the RPM DB, perform the following:- SSH to the Admin Server host.
- Remove the corrupted rpm using the following command:
rm /var/lib/rpm/__db*
3. Rebuild the RPM using the following command:
rpm --rebuilddb
Once you rebuild the RPM, retry the failed operation.
