RSA is pleased to announce the general availability of RSA ECAT 4.1.1 This service pack introduces an updated RESTful API, with more intuitive function calls and additional functionality, as well as a larger file size limit for malware blocking. It also resolves a number of issues in previous ECAT 4.1 versions.

Recommendation for RSA ECAT customers:

Customers currently running RSA ECAT 4.0  or later should follow the RSA ECAT 4.1.1 Installation Guide to upgrade. Supported upgrade paths are:

        • RSA ECAT 4.0.0.5, 4.0.0.6, or 4.1.0.2 to RSA ECAT 4.1.1.

        • RSA ECAT 4.1.0.0 or 4.1.0.1 must first update to 4.1.0.2 before updating to 4.1.1.

        • All other updates will need the intermediate step of updating to a supported release (4.0.0.5, 4.0.0.6, 4.1.0.2) before updating to 4.1.1.
