Summary

RSA is pleased to announce the general availability of RSA NetWitness Platform (RNWP) 11.5.3. This release delivers enhancements to Springboard Traffic Analysis, Endpoint Investigation, several bug fixes and security patches for Centos 7.9.

Springboard - View Events of Interest

Analysts can now pivot to events of interest directly from the Springboard Events panel (similar to Users, Hosts, and Files panels.)

Introducing NetWitness Multi Factor Auth w/ SecurID and Active Directory

You can set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for NetWitness using one of the following methods:

  • ADFS Log in to NetWitness with SecurID Passcode.
  • PAM SecurID Log in to NetWitness for AD Users.

Endpoint Investigation

  • Extended Agent Support for Mac Big Sur version 11 on Intel
  • Extended Agent Support for SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12SP3,12SP4 and 12SP5
  • Extended Support for Agents on Windows Hosts to Communicate Through Proxy - Windows hosts can communicate to the Endpoint server through proxy connections when there is no direct network connection available to the Endpoint server on a Windows host. For this, you must configure and enable proxy.

This release is a patch including the following fixes:

  • 49 Centos Security Fixes
  • 1 issue with Administration
  • 2 issues with Core Services
  • 2 issues with Endpoint
  • 1 issue with Respond
  • 1 issue with Report Engine
  • 2 issues with Log Collector
  • 1 issue with Health & Wellness
  • 1 issue with ESA
  • 1 issue with Investigation
