Summary:

This important notice is to inform you that RSA plans to migrate smcupdate.emc.com to a new IP.

 

The migration is expected to take place on or about September 14th, 2018.  A more detailed schedule will be provided when details are made final.

IMPORTANT:

  • If you have any firewall rules supporting connectivity to smcupdate.emc.com service, you will need to add a new IP to allow access to the service.
  • It is important, however, that customers do not remove or modify their existing network configurations before the migration to ensure continued service.
  • If you have connection issues after the cutover, please keep in mind that depending on the global DNS name propagation time and your internal DNS servers, this change might take longer than expected.
  • You must use the URLs to connect to the NetWitness Live services.
