NOTE:  This Advisory provides guidance and KBs to update Live with Entrust CA Certificate.

Summary:

 

Please be advised that RSA NetWitness Live services will undergo required maintenance on Sunday, February 16th from 12:30 AM EST to Sunday February 16th 05:30 AM EST. The certificate for cms.netwitness.com will be updated at this time and client applications may experience intermittent interruptions in the service. 

Important Note for 10.6.x.x and prior Deployments:

RSA NetWitness 10.6.x.x and prior deployments will be required to verify and manually install the Entrust Root Certificate on or before this maintenance window to ensure no service interruption is experienced.  Failure to do so will result in certificate validation failures for all cms.netwitness.com services until the Entrust Root Certificate is installed.

Please follow KB 000038456 for detailed instructions on how to install the Entrust Root Certificate. 

IMPORTANT: Failure to update the certificate before due date will lead to access denial of Content Management System (CMS) capabilities such as search, download and subscription. To check if you are impacted, go to Live configuration and click test connection, if this fails you may be impacted by the certificate change issue, and should refer to KB 000038456 to fix this issue.
