Issue

What are the default RSA NetWitness appliance iDRAC login credentials?
What is the username and password to login to the iDRAC interface on a NetWitness appliance?

Resolution

Option 1: The default RSA NetWitness appliance iDRAC login and password

Username: root

Password: themaster01
 

Option 2: The default Dell appliance iDRAC login and password

Some RSA NetWitness appliances may still have the default Dell iDrac password.

Username: root

Password: calvin
 

Option 3: Reset the iDRAC password to a known value or to factory default

Someone onsite boots the appliance and enters into the iDRAC configuration utility using Ctrl+E during POST.
Go to User Authentication to change user name and password.

Or boot into the LifeCycle Controller (LCC) using the [F10] key.
Go to System Setup > Advanced Hardware Configuration > iDRAC Settings > User Configuration to change the login credentials.

Note: The "Reset iDRAC to Default Settings", includes all username, password and IP will be restored to the default one.
